These dudes are true believers in taking care of a customer in need. They were honest and quick. Especially with what they had to do for me. They never turned away from me. They did the job their self and I couldn’t be any more happier for what they did for me. My brake calipers and rotors were molded together and they fought to help me out. I even gave them a tip because I know what they went through. I am super pleased with this manager and his mechanics. The price was super reasonable too. The best shop in Springfield IL hands down. Thank you carx. You did well with this crew. Give them a raise. They deserve it.

They have nice professional staff but the corporate policies are upsetting. There prices are $150 more than other repair places for 1 axil (brake pads and rotors) and they can't/won't accept coupons from their own website. They offer 3 different coupons on the Car-X website that would have helped but corporate policy they can't accept them. "Our warranty makes it worth it." 12 month warranty on brakes is a no brainer. Brakes should already last over 12 months. That's not a benefit. Update! The car-x parent company reached out to me and sent me a refund for the difference. I am very pleased

Would leave 0 if possible. Went there for them to replace my tie rods . My vehicle was shaking when stopping. After they replaced my tie rods it was still shaking and now had this grinding and rubbing noise when making a full turn. Took it back they said they could not find anything wrong and was not sure what the grinding was . They recommended I take it somewhere else for a second opinion. I took it to the Dodge dealership. They said the tie rods were bad. I went back to carx, they said the dealership was wrong and didn't know what they were talking about. And that the tie rods were good. And that the car shaking must be the brakes or rotors. And they still didn't know what the grinding noise was. Richard recommended I go to an auto shop of this guy he knows and maybe he can figure it out. Again the grinding noise was not there before they worked on it. And they never got to shaking to stop. I took it back to dealership and let them replace the tie rods and now my vehicle is running perfectly! No issues ! No shaking and the grinding noise is gone ! Horrible experience will never go there again.

I didn't use any services - I enjoyed the hospitality of this shop. The bus station in Springfield closes (yes, bus stations in the state capital can close!) at 5 p.m. yesterday, and everyone waiting for a bus is simply kicked out into the cold! But CarX is located three minutes from this bus station and kindly lets random passersby warm up, sit in the warmth, and watch TV, just so they don't freeze for hours waiting for their bus. I am eternally grateful to the CarX staff. I don't care about cars and will never know what kind of mechanics they are, but they are kind and decent people.

I cannot say enough about this place! My brakes went out when I came to town, thankfully I made it there safely. Upon arrival the team instantly jumped into action. Explained my brakes just went out coming into town and I'm not from the area and I need to be able to get back home today. Very quickly they figured out how to get my car in the shop as my emergency brake wouldn't release. Calls were made and they did everything they could to try to get me out the door that day. Unfortunately due to a part not being available they was not able to get me my car that day but had the part ordered and finished it first thing Monday when the part was recieved. Hands down some of the best service I've recieved anywhere!!! So happy I came to this place, quick efficient honest, and reasonable. Even tho its a drive for me I plan on this being my new service place. You can't beat great help! And its worth the drive for me! Thanks R.J and boys, you guys are great at what you do and wonderful entertainment for a stressful situation!
